Four days ago, I took off to go for a body check-up at our famous women's hospital. It was quite early in the morning and as I seek to avoid the long waiting time, I was quite in a hurry. As I was rushing, something caught my attention. From a corner of the buidling, I saw there were three to four policewomen. With them were two women inmates. Unlike the others, both were pregnant. One of them looked like the baby is going to be due in no time. Both of their hands were handcuffed. Their heads were low; seem to be afraid of being seen by someone they know.
That few seconds of encounter with the two ladies bought some thoughts to mind.
Firstly, I am deeply convicted that when one commited wrong and is punished; his or her actions does not just affect himself or herself. But it affects many others. In this case, the birthplace of the inmates' children is going to be in the prison! What an unerasable memory!
Secondly, this taught me to be careful about my actions. Got to think hard before I act!
I left the place soberly...yet wandering what is instore in the future of these two ladies and their babies.
